Note: The Zinio app for iPhone and iPad is once again available in Apple's App Store.  Thanks for your patience!

Through a partnership with the Library of Virginia, we now offer Zinio for Libraries, a digital magazine service from Recorded Books (RBDigital) and Zinio.com.  Zinio, the world's largest newsstand, offers almost 200 full color, interactive digital magazines for your enjoyment with no holds, no due dates, and no download limits.

  • Current Issues — New issues are released simultaneously with the print edition and many are available before they arrive at your library, ready for immediate download.  Back issues to July 2013 are available.

  • Easy browsing — Browse your library's collection of titles, search for your favorite magazines by title or use the convenient category feature to find magazines which meet your interests on the RBDigital site.

  • Manage your collection — Using your account, you have the opportunity to check out magazines you choose and read them instantly on your PC or Mac or access the content on a portable media device. (Note: The ability to download or view the content while online may differ based on the device and/or magazine publisher.)

  • No limits — Check out as many issues as you want and keep them in your account as long as you wish.  There are never any late fees or holds queues.

The Zinio Reader app can be used to read your magazines on your mobile device - just use your Zinio login to register the app.  Note: The app does not work with dedicated eReaders such as the Nook Simple Touch, Nook Color, Kindle Touch, or older Kindle models.

You are able to browse the collection and check out titles by following the link at the top of the page, using a web browser (ex. Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer 9 or higher, or Safari) on a computer or smart device.

To get the app, choose your platform - iTunes, Android, or Windows - or visit your device's app store.  Note: Some devices may require you to enable third-party app downloads.
