The Fall Storytime Session is Monday, September 11 to Friday, December 8.

 

There will be no Mother Goose Storytime at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 7.

Tai Chi

Meets Mondays at 6:30 p.m. p.m. (Nov. 13, 20, & 27, and Dec. 4, 11, & 18)

If you've never tried Tai Chi, now's your chance. Described as "meditation in motion" Tai Chi can be a gentle way to fight the stress of everyday living and may have a number of health benefits. Try it and see!

 

Knitting & Crochet Club

Every Tuesday of the month, 10:00 a.m. - noon

Are you a knitter or crocheter looking to expand your fiber-related circle and have a bit of fun?  Grab your needles, yarn, and patterns for fun conversation and  stitching.

Mechanicsville Library Book Club

Meets the third Wednesday of every month, 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.  (Nov. 15 and Dec. 20)

 

Senior Storytime

Held on the fourth Friday of every month at 10:00 a.m. (Nov. 16 (Thursday) and Dec. 22)

Relax and enjoy light and lively tales at this Storytime for adults.

Refreshments provided by the Friends of the Mechanicsville Library.

Superhero BASH!

Saturday, October 28, 11:00 a.m. - noon

Ages 3 & up. BOOM! WHAM! KAPOW! Celebrate Halloween ComicFest with games, snacks, and crafts dressed as your favorite superhero!  Adults can dress up, too!Don't forget to pick up your free comic book while supplies last.

 

Mason Jar Salad

Wednesday, November 8, 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Ages 18 & up.  Looking for a fun way to eat a healthy meal? A nutrition specialist will show you how to make a salad in a Mason jar.

The Amazing Honeybee!

Saturday, November 18, 10:30 a.m. - noon

Ages 18 & up. How important is one beehive for your food? Learn how bees make honey, how to harvest honey, and how you can start your own hive.

 

Holiday Make & Take

Friday, December 1, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Ages 3-12.  Dress up in your PJs and celebrate the season with a creative craft and listen to holiday stories.
