Summer Breakfasts @ the Library

Have Breakfast with Us!

With summer right around the corner, it’s time to think about keeping children healthy while school is out. Did you know the Pamunkey Regional Library provides free breakfasts to children during the summer?

From Monday, June 19 to Friday, August 25, breakfasts will be served Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the Mechanicsville Branch Library at 7461 Sherwood Crossing Place.

There are no income requirements or registration. Any child 18 years of age or under may come to eat. For more information, call the Mechanicsville Branch Library at 804-746-9615 or email ask@pamunkeylibrary.org.

Each year, the U.S. Department of Agriculture partners with local organizations like the Pamunkey Regional Library to provide free meals to children when school is out for the summer. For more information about the national Summer Food Service Program, visit www.fns.usda.gov/cnd/summer.
