PageTurners Book Club

meets every third Thursday, 2:30 - 4:00 p.m. (July 20 and August 17)

meets every second Friday, Noon - 2:00 p.m. (July 14 and August 11)

Chickahominy Colored Pencil Artists

meets on the following Fridays of each month, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (July 7 and August 11)

Ages 18 & up.  Join the Chickahominy Colored Pencil Artists at a monthly meeting to share ideas, techniques and skills in using colored pencils. Bring your own individual supplies and projects and enjoy a time to sketch and make new friends. This is not an instructional class.

 

Fun & Games

meets every first Wednesday of the month, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. (July 5 and August 2)

Ages 18 & up. Meet up with friends and have a great time with card and board games.

Bat World of Hampton Roads

Monday, July 31, 11:00 a.m.

Learn about myths, bat habitats, and food preferences, and how they benefit us. Hear echolocation demonstrated using a bat detector on a live bat, too!

Solar Eclipse Celebration

Celebrate the upcoming solar eclipse and pick up a free pair of viewing glasses at the library. Get important safety tips and learn more about the science behind eclipses with fun, informative videos and activities. One (1) pair of glasses per family while supplies last.
